Pink Wave
Pink Wave Some paintings begin with a place. Others begin with a feeling. Pink Wave was inspired by a quiet moment when colors seemed to flow like gentle waves across the water. Rather than painting a recognizable landscape, I wanted to capture the peaceful rhythm of light, movement, and emotion. The cool blue represents calmness and open space, while the soft pink brings warmth, hope, and quiet energy. Together, these colors create a balance that reminds me of sunrise, sunset, and the peaceful moments in between. I built the surface slowly with many layers of acrylic paint. The repeated brushstrokes create a textured pattern that reflects light differently from every angle. As the viewer moves, the painting changes, revealing new details and subtle variations in color. For me, abstract painting is not about explaining something. It is about creating a space where people can pause, breathe, and discover their own meaning. One person may see an endless ocean.
